I would avoid putting the peeloff on the very edge of the nail as it peels so good and to get longer wear. Zero damage and such a satisfying peel off!
Will your gel polish damage my natural nails?
No!
We have carefully formulated our gel polish to be non-toxic and have eliminated the most harmful chemicals commonly found in nail polish that may damage your nails (and your health). Those ingredients include formaldehyde, toluene,dibutyl phthalate, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, phthalates, ethyl tosylamide and triphenyl phosphate, benzophenone-1.
All of our products have undergone clinical testing (not on animals) and material safety checks to ensure they are completely safe to use do not damage your naturals nails.
When applied and removed correctly, our gel polish is completely safe to wear on an ongoing basis, with no damage to your natural nails.
Do I need a base coat and top coat?
The simple answer is yes if you care about longevity of your manicure!
There's a reason why your nail salon does not skip the base and top coat!
Without a base and top coat, your gel manicure will not last as long. We are talking up to 3 weeks long.
Our Base Coat acts as your nails protective layer and it is essential for gel polish adhesion. Without a base coat, you could be left with stained nail beds with the darker colours. Our base coat also helps with easier removal.
Our Top Coat seals our gel polishes to prevent chipping and protects your manicure. It is absolutely essential in achieving a super glossy finish we all love!
How do I remove your gel polish?
1. Using our 100/180 grit Nail File, gently and slowly sand down the top layer of the gel polish until all the shine has been removed.
2. Protect your cuticles by coating the skin surrounding you nails and finger tips with a thick hand cream or cuticle oil.
3.Soak some cotton balls in acetone and place a cotton ball on top of each nail.
4. Wrap your fingertips with small squares of aluminium foil to secure the cotton ball in place. Let your nails soak for 10-15 minutes.
5. Then remove the aluminium foil and cotton balls from your fingers. The gel polish should have lifted and look as if it is falling off. If not, soak for a little bit longer.
6. Using our Gel Remover Tool, gently scrape the gel polish off. Wash your hands then hydrate your nails and hands with hand cream or oil.
*Do not pick or peel your gel polish! If you rip it off, you will most likely take some layers of your nail off with it.
How is your gel polish different from regular nail polish?
Gel polish dries a lot quicker than regular nail polish. Gel polish needs to be cured under a UV or LED lamp to dry while regular polish dries naturally. That’s why gel polish application is much quicker regular polish as each coat cures in only 60 seconds.
Our gel polishes are chip-resistant while regular polishes are known to easily chip.
Our gel polishes lasts up to 3 weeks (or as long as you want to keep it) while regular nail polishes only last up to 5 days.
